CareLinx by Sharecare is a nationwide online network that connects individuals and families with pre-screened, professional caregivers in their area. CareLinx by Sharecare provides “technology with a human touch” – individuals and families can access an online portal to view caregivers, message with them, hire them, and create individualized tasks for them to assist in the home. All families are assigned a dedicated advisor who can also assist by phone with the caregiver matching and any questions you may have.
Care advisors are the guiding experts for Associates or families during their in-home care journey.
Care Advisors assist with the enrollment process by identifying home care needs and caregiver preferences. They continue to provide ongoing support after a caregiver is hired to ensure overall satisfaction with the CareLinx by Sharecare experience.
Caregivers can provide personalized care to help with routine daily activities like meal preparation, grocery shopping or errands, bathing, exercise, and transportation. Caregivers can also offer companionship and emotional support.
No, up to 48 hours of care are completely covered for Associates as part of your wellness program provided by Lennar.
Needs for care after the 48 hour benefit will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Some Medicare Advantage plans also cover in home care. Please contact your care advisor.
The beneficiary of this new benefit is to be an associate or an immediate family member (spouse, parent or child) who requires assistance with adult self-care (dressing, bathing, etc.) or needs an extra layer of support (meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, etc.) Examples include, but are not limited to, people who have experienced a serious health event or surgery, pregnancy complications, or an important life event like the birth of a baby.

CareLinx by Sharecare has a recruiting team dedicated to caregiver vetting. Vetting includes:
CareLinx by Sharecare caregivers come from a wide range of professionals. Some caregivers will have a CNA or HHA, but those are not required to be a caregiver. If you are looking for specific experience, licensure, and/or certification please let your care advisor know. You will find a caregiver’s competencies on their profile.
A CareLinx care advisor will return a call within 2 - 4 business hours or will outreach within 8 business hours if an Associate signs up online. When a Lennar Associate calls CareLinx by Sharecare and identifies a need, the caregiver placement process can take up to 5 days to complete and to have a caregiver placed. CareLinx by Sharecare will work as quickly as possible to accommodate any needs before the 5 days.
The Lennar benefit of up to 48 free hours of care can be used to assist the associate or an immediate family member (spouse, parent, or child) sharing the household of the associate (same address).
Typically, home care is private pay. However, some long-term care insurance policies will cover home care services. If the recipient is a participant in a Medicare Advantage Plan, Associates should check with the Medicare Advantage Plan to see if home care is covered.
The Associate can always review the invoices prior to paying them. Your dedicated care advisor is also a resource to validate the time the caregiver was in the home.
Lennar Associates have control over the care schedule and have access via the CareLinx app to schedule caregivers on their own. However, CareLinx by Sharecare has dedicated care advisors who can assist with scheduling caregivers as requested by the Associate.
The services provided to Lennar Associates are billed hourly. The hourly clock starts when the caregiver arrives in home to provide services. Caregivers are able to clock in for their shifts via the CareLinx by Sharecare app. If there are any problems with this, the caregiver is always able to call or email CareLinx by Sharecare to have an invoice with the clock-in/clock-out times generated.
The Associate can always review the invoices prior to paying them. Your dedicated CareLinx care advisor can also outreach to the Associate first to validate the time the caregiver was in the home.
The client can either begin searching and interviewing caregivers through the platform, themselves, or CareLinx by Sharecare will help facilitate that process for the client.
Caregivers and families are always able to communicate about the schedules to each other. However, caregiver no-calls/no-shows for shifts have a zero-tolerance policy at CareLinx by Sharecare barring any emergency situations. Caregivers are trained prior to working with any family that they are to outreach to the family first if they cannot make a shift for any reason and also to CareLinx by Sharecare so the team can assist with locating a replacement caregiver should the family need one.
Yes, CareLinx by Sharecare can directly accommodate any Spanish-speaking clients currently. Care advisors also have access to a translation service via phone with representatives who can translate for most languages.
Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST. The call center is closed 3 days out of the year - Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day (the actual holidays, not the observed dates). We can provide in-home care and support to Associates 24/7, 365 days a year.
