Concierge services act as your "personal assistant" for activities and services outside your home. They can assist with things like ordering tickets to entertainment events, creating gift ideas and coordinating the order of them, finding and arranging pet-related services (e.g., veterinarians and pet sitters), and making reservations for things like restaurants, hotels, and flights.
Beneficiary companions assist with administrative tasks related to the death of a loved one. These individuals will make phone calls and handle all necessary paperwork so you can spend time with their family and friends while grieving and healing. Services include guidance on how to obtain death certificate copies, notifying the Social Security Administration, credit reporting agencies and financial institutions, and government agencies, assistance with ID protection and fraud resolution of the deceased loved one.
CareLinx is an online platform that helps connect families with professional, non-medical caregivers in their area. CareLinx provides “technology with a human touch” -- families can access an online portal to view caregivers, message with them, hire them, and create individualized tasks for them to assist in the home. If you do not feel comfortable using technology, CareLinx provides a dedicated toll-free number to be connected with a CareLinx Care Advisor who can assist by phone. Your CareLinx Care advisor will also be coordinating your benefit selection including your choice of one of the following services: In-Home Personal Care, Home Modification, or Pest Control. Your CareLinx care advisor will assist with scheduling and obtaining services.
Caregivers can assist with a range of activities of daily living and non-medical support -- mobility, bathing, grooming, exercise, transportation, meal preparation, companionship, and more. Caregivers can also provide limited assistance with your medications by providing reminders and/or taking you to pick up medications. However, caregivers are not authorized to administer or dispense medication.
CareLinx caregivers come from a wide range of professionals including retired registered nurses. Some caregivers will be certified nursing assistants or home health aides, but it is not required to be a caregiver. CareLinx does extensive background screening and offers continuing education for its caregivers to ensure the best quality of care. Our Care Advisors will work with you to match them with a caregiver who has the experience that meets their individual needs.
You can enroll after you have completed your required healthcare activities for a year after your activities have been completed; however, you should enroll as soon as possible to take advantage of your benefits. When you call CareLinx and express that you would like in-home care services, the caregiver placement process will take no more than 5 days to respond and have someone out to your home depending on when you prefer care to start.
A dedicated CareLinx Care Advisor will assist with scheduling all caregiver interviews unless you would like to coordinate alone. If you do not want to interview and would rather have a caregiver matched with them on their behalf, your Care Advisor can assist by selecting a caregiver in your area who best fits your care needs.
Yes, CareLinx can directly accommodate any Spanish-speaking clients currently. Care Advisors also have access to a translation service via phone with representatives who can translate for most languages.
CareLinx Care Advisors will enroll you and notify HomesRenewed of your referral. HomesRenewed will then contact you and schedule installation. The turnaround time between the initial referral and appointment for installation is about 30 days, so you shouldn’t delay your enrollment after you complete your required healthcare activities.
CareLinx Care Advisors will enroll you and contact a national pest control company in your area while you’re on the phone. Pest control will schedule service with you at the time of enrollment.
