A Care Advisor will assist each client with answering any questions about CareLinx’s model, determining a client’s ADL/IADL needs, discussing their budget, setting up a CareLinx account, and helping the client hire a caregiver with skills specific to the client’s needs.

A dedicated Care Advisor works with each client and family to determine a budget for the required care services. CareLinx caregivers set their own hourly rate and the dedicated Care Advisor will work with each family to find the right caregiver with the specific skills required to provide the care and who will be available to accept the job at the hourly rate predetermined by the family. Ongoing services will incur the discounted service fee of 15% rather than the typical 20% service fee.
Your Care Advisor can help you determine the average caregiver rate in your area and can help you determine the overall cost for the care you need.
CareLinx has a recruiting team dedicated to caregiver vetting. Vetting includes:
CareLinx caregivers come from a wide range of professionals. Some caregivers will have a CNA or HHA, but those are not required to be a caregiver on our platform. If you are looking for specific experience, licensure, and/or certification please let your care advisor know. You will find a caregiver’s competencies on their profile.
A Care Advisor will return a call within 2 - 4 business hours or will outreach within 8 business hours if a client signs up online. When a client calls CareLinx and identifies a need, the caregiver placement process can take up to 5 days to complete and to have a caregiver placed. CareLinx will work as quickly as possible to accommodate any needs before the 5 days.

Typically home care is private pay. However, some long-term care insurance policies will cover home care services. Clients should also look into their Medicare Advantage programs if home care is covered.
Clients have control over the care schedule and have access via the CareLinx app to schedule caregivers on their own. However, CareLinx has dedicated Care Advisors who can assist with scheduling caregivers as requested by the client.
The services provided to clients are billed hourly. The hourly clock starts when the caregiver arrives at the clients’ home to provide services. Caregivers are able to clock-in for their shifts via the CareLinx app. If there are any problems with this, the caregiver is always able to call or email CareLinx to have an invoice with the clock-in/clock-out times generated.
A client can always review the invoices prior to paying them. If a client is not tech-savvy, their dedicated Care Navigator will always outreach to the client first to validate the time the caregiver was in the home.
The client can either begin searching and interviewing caregivers through the platform, themselves, or CareLinx will help facilitate that process for the client.
Caregivers and families are always able to communicate about the schedules to each other. However, caregiver no calls/no shows for shifts have a zero tolerance policy at CareLinx barring any emergency situations. Caregivers are trained prior to working with any family that they are to outreach to the family first if they cannot make a shift for any reason and also to CareLinx so the team can assist with locating a replacement caregiver should the family need one.
Yes, CareLinx can directly accommodate any spanish-speaking clients currently. Care Advisors also have access to a translation service via phone with representatives who can translate for most languages.
