Empowering Veterans to Choose Their Homecare Provider

Delivered with Heart. Trusted by the VA. Powered by You.

CareLinx by Sharecare is a network of trusted (vetted, trained & competitively paid) homecare aides caring for those who have served our country. CareLinx is here when you need it most.

We support Veteran directed care by training and paying adult family, friends, and neighbors to care for those who have served in uniform.

Trusted member of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network

CareLinx is proud to support VA Medical Centers across the country through the VA’s Community Care Network (CCN). As a trusted provider, we deliver non-clinical home care services under VA-authorized programs to help Veterans remain safe, independent, and supported at home.

Empowering Veterans to Choose Who Provides Their Homecare

Through programs like the Veteran-Directed Home and Community-Based Services  CareLinx enables Veterans to select, train, and employ adults they already trust - such as family members, neighbors, or friends - as their homecare aides.  We provide comprehensive support including background checks, training, timesheet management, and claims submission, so veterans and their chosen caregivers can focus on what matters most: care, dignity, and independence.

Proven Outcomes and High Satisfaction

In a pilot program with VA, Veterans reported 97% satisfaction with their caregivers. Trusted caregivers - often family members - felt valued and empowered to deliver care that was deeply personal and impactful.

Beyond Benefits:
Programs That Honor Your Service

As part of our ongoing commitment to support Veterans, military families, and caregivers across the country, CareLinx proudly partners on a range of innovative programs designed to bring care, respite, and hope to those who have served.

In 2020, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and CareLinx joined together to create the Respite Relief for Military and Veteran Caregivers program which offers family caregivers of veterans access to no-cost, short-term relief with the help of CareLinx in-home care professionals. The CareLinx donation of $1 million helped to provide more than 40,000 hours of non-medical home care for more than 1,600 caregivers and their wounded, ill, or injured. Read the press release here.

Paralyzed Veterans of America - Wisconsin Chapter (PVA-WI) started working with CareLinx as part of a project with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and has continued a partnership with us to support families who need additional support with caregiver respite and caregiving. Voices from Veterans, their Caregivers & Families:
In their own words

Please keep doing what you are doing. What you're doing is so critically important and so very needed in this world. You are amazing—and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us through this journey.

It really made life just a bit easier, and at times I did not think it would have been possible. It is crazy how help can change a person's world.

Because of this care, I can stay home with my husband during palliative care instead of taking a job outside the home. It’s given me peace of mind and the ability to focus on being there for him.

This program has been such a good thing. We've been doing good, but thanks to this program, we're doing even better!

I was paying my neighbor out of pocket because she was helping me for free. It was a financial strain, but now she’s my paid caregiver. This program has been a great, big, happy change in my life.

My loved ones and I appreciate the ongoing support from CareLinx. I plan to keep using this service—and I plan to recommend it to others.
